REFORM AND REFIT BILIR
A listed building in Stuttgart city centre (the old city archive) was transformed into housing to accommodate five apartments that had to be renovated. We designed the second floor for the Bilir family in coordination with the other new owners.
The 120 m² apartment has a strong and compact central piece that allows a maximum open space. The bedrooms open to the courtyard and the living rooms are at the street side.
Everything is designed in a very clear and abstract way in order to respect the great and wonderful space that used to be an archive.
